My approach is client-led, starting where you need to and only going as deeply as you want to go. I work to truly understand you and your experience, as well as the intersecting social contexts, such as race, gender, and sexuality (to name a few), of your life. I provide a non- judgmental, supportive, and at times playful atmosphere in which you can safely explore and be yourself. By offering a space to give voice to your thoughts and feelings, we will make connections between patterns past and present, allowing you to access and build inner resources and authenticity. I strive to work in an anti-oppressive, feminist, sex-positive, and LGBTQ2S+ positive framework.
Before starting on my path studying therapy, I studied Theatre at the University of Toronto and have worked for many years in non-profits in the arts, international development and leadership development. I’ve also worked in the government and other bureaucratic institutions. In my spare time, I read tarot cards, a practice that has helped me hone my intuition and get to know myself better.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I studied at the Toronto Institute for Relational Psychotherapy, a graduate-level psychotherapy training program accredited by the CRPO. I am a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists and am governed by their ethical standards as well as the ethical standards of the CRPO.
