I’ve been in the health and wellness industry for the past 15 years in both a clinical and private setting.
I first worked as a Holistic Nutritionist, helping those with digestive issues and diabetes. This led me to Personal Training and an eventual certification from the CHEK institute; a system designed to address a person as a whole to analyze factors that can create more stress in the body.
In the past 7 years, I completed my studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine becoming a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac), and Manual Osteopath (DOMP).
I’ve apprenticed under renowned acupuncturist Takamasa Tsurusaki (Toronto), Mitsunori Seino (Tokyo), and Shi Hyung Lee (Seoul). I am currently furthering my education by learning Zhu Scalp Acupuncture under the tutelage of Acupuncturist Dr. Ming Qing Zhu (California).
I practice a style of Japanese acupuncture that’s known for its precise diagnosis and gentle needling, and combine it with the soft tissue principles from manual osteopathy.
I use acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, nutrition, lifestyle coaching and corrective exercise to help those in chronic pain and those suffering from Adrenal fatigue or chronic fatigue syndrome.
